In loving memory

K9 Blackie.

From street dog to Plett hero.

Sponsored to Plett Security by PAWS and the Ratepayers Association, Blackie was given a new purpose. He became a dedicated working K9, serving the community for seven years and assisting in more than 70 arrests.

Blackie was more than a working dog. He was a trusted partner and a much-loved member of our team, remembered for his loyal service to the people of Plett.

After retirement, when his hind legs gave way, Blackie was put to sleep. We honour the life he lived, the community he helped protect and the special place he will always hold at Plett Security.

7 years: Serving the community
70+: Arrests assisted
